Aura Points vs. Rizz vs. King of 6-7: A Field Guide to Gen Z's Imaginary Currencies
Last updated: 2026 · Filed under: anthropology, allegedly
At some point, without a vote, without a treaty, an entire generation agreed to start keeping score of things that cannot be measured, using units that do not exist. If you have overheard a teenager say they "lost aura" for tripping in public, or that a stranger has "negative rizz," and felt a small, cold dread about the future — this guide is for you. Consider it a phrasebook for a currency system with no central bank and no exchange rate, only vibes.
Aura / Aura points
A currency of general coolness that can be gained or lost based on literally anything: holding the door for someone (+50), tripping while holding the door for someone (−200), recovering smoothly from tripping while holding the door (+300, net positive). There is no wallet. There is no balance you can check. You simply know, deep down, when you've lost some.
Rizz
Short for "charisma," specifically the romantic kind. A person with high rizz can talk to anyone; a person with low rizz will rehearse a text for forty minutes and send "hey." Rizz cannot be taught, only witnessed, usually right before it catastrophically fails in front of everyone.
Sigma (grindset)
A self-declared personality type for people who have decided the social hierarchy doesn't apply to them because they've opted out of it entirely, loudly, on main. Often involves waking up at 4am for reasons that remain unclear.
6-7
Two numbers, said together, for no reason anyone can fully explain, that somehow became one of the internet's most contagious in-jokes. There is no formula. There is no lore. There is only the number, and the people who understand, and the people who ask "wait, what does that mean?" and are told, correctly, "nothing."
Where we come in
We didn't invent any of these units, but we did build an entire clicker game around one of them: tap an orb, rack up clicks, climb through tiers that get more deranged the higher you go, and eventually — if you have genuinely nothing better to do today — reach the exalted rank of King of 6-7, a title that means both everything and absolutely nothing, which feels correct. You can also take the actual 10-question Aura quiz if you'd rather earn your aura points the honest way, through a series of increasingly unhinged multiple choice questions instead of a few million taps.
